at Generation Word Church in West Des Moines, Iowa; a Monday night Bible School at 7:00 in West Des Moines; a Tuesday night Bible study in West Des Moines at 7:00.

Galyn and Toni were married in 1981 and have six sons.   Galyn Wiemers is the Bible teacher for Generation Word. After having grown up in Presbyterian, EUB and Methodist churches, Galyn was saved at the age of 16 in the fall 1976 at a Lowell Lundstom concert. In the spring of 1977 he went forward to recommit his life to the Lord at a David Wilkerson meeting. In 1979 Galyn met Toni Mohr and they were married in 1981. They joined a Baptist church and after college graduation they attended a Bible Chapel aligned with Dallas Theological Seminary. They both graduated from college at Northwest Missouri State as teachers and coaches in 1982. In 1984 God stirred Galyn and Toni's hearts with the Word of God. In 1986 Galyn began teaching the Bible in the classrooms in Tulsa. Over the next five years Galyn's opportunities grew to teaching several times a week in a local church and became a guest speaker at a local Bible college. In 1992 Toni and Galyn moved back to Iowa with their four boys to take a job at a high school as a shop teacher with classes in house construction, engines, drafting and wood working. Both Galyn and Toni coached. A Grace Brethren church alligned with Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana asked Galyn to start a youth group. The youth grew into a weekly group of 75. By 1994 Galyn was hired as the pastor of the Grace Brethren church. In 1999 Galyn was given the chance to teach the Bible everyday in the high school classroom in a Christian school in West Des Moines, Iowa. The family moved to West Des Moines, Iowa with six boys. In April of 2002 Galyn and Toni started Generation Word Bible teaching ministry in their house. Galyn is currently teaching full time in a public school as a middle school shop teacher. Galyn is in his thirteenth year at Dallas Center-Gimes Middle School in Dallas Center, Iowa where he has also coached. During this time Galyn also served as the pastor for the Faith Evangelical Free Church in Audubon, Iowa for ten years until 2012. Justin, 29, the oldest son, served four years in the United States Marines; Paul, 28, is in Colorado; Benjamin, 24, is an officer in the United States Air Force with a major in computer engineering; Nathan, 23, is finishing his last semester of college in BrazilI; Zac, 20, in college and runs cross country and track for UNI. He plans to teach English and coach at the high school level; Jacob, 17, is a junior at Valley High School. Galyn teaches for Generation Word several times a week, in addition to teaching industrial technology full time in a shop in the Dallas Center-Grimes Middle School.
