A Bible Teaching Ministry of Galyn Wiemers

Statement Of Faith

1. The Scriptures
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, authoritative, inerrant Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21)
The Old and New Testament are our infallible guide in matters pertaining to conduct and doctrine. (1 Thessalonians 1:6)

2. The Godhead
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons and co-equal: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1; John 10:30, 37, 38; Philippians 2:6)

3. Deity of Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, in his virgin birth, in his sinless life, in his miracles, in his vicarious atoning death through his shed blood in his bodily resurrection, in his ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in his personal return in power and glory.

4. Man's Sinfulness and Redemption
We believe that man is sinful by nature and that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential and an absolute necessity for his salvation. (Romans 3:19,23; John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8-10)

5. Current Ministry of the Holy Spirit
We believe in the continuing ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is sealed and enabled to live a godly life and whose infilling empowers the believer for gifting and service (Ephesians 1:13; 4:30; 5:18; Romans 8:14; Galatians 5:16, 22; 1 Corinthians 3:16; 12:7, 11; Hebrews 2:4)

6. Resurrection of all Men to Eternal Life or Eternal Judgment
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: they who are saved unto eternal life and they who are lost unto eternal damnation. (John 5:28,29; Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 19:20; 20:12-15)

7. Spiritual Unity of all Believers
We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. Membership in the body of Christ, the one universal church, is made up of many believers from many denominations and many local churches (Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 12:12-14; Galatians 3:26-28; Matthew 16:18; Revelation 5:9, 10)

8. Creation
We believe in the creation of man by the direct act of God. (Genesis 1:26-28; 5:1-2; Matthew 19:4; Colossians 3:10)
