Generation Word has no employees and owes no debt. Financial support goes to:
Generation Word is supported by the freewill offerings of believers who are motivated by the Lord to give and who realize the urgent need for the distribution of Bible teaching material in our society.
In 2008 Generation Word spent $22,000 cash to print Framework for Christian Faith. This book is fully paid for and is now available upon request. In 2007 Generation Word spent $15,000 cash printing Hope for America's Last Generation. This book is also fully paid for and available upon request. Generation Word has distributed 100,000 CDs through 2003-2007 at no charge. In 2009 we are focused on providing mp3 messages online for download while at the same time providing sample sets of 3 or 4 cds to new listeners in order to promote this ministry and the website. We will focus on using the internet more to provide easy and instant access to our resources. For example, the two books mentioned above are also completely available online in .pdf.
The promotion and expansion of the online Bible School and its text book, Framework for Christian Faith, is our main project for 2009. This online Bible School includes audio, video, notes, the book's text, online chapter tests with online grading, online essay questions and a growing list of other features and learning opportunities. We have also purchased and submitted to search engines a website to link internet searches to our online Bible school through www.onlinebibleschool.net (after only 10 days of existence this site is coming up on the second page of Google in the 17th spot for a search for "online bible school.")
Generation Word ministry is a ministry of grace from God given to the people. Bible teaching is the sole purpose of this ministry. To place a price on the materials that are the vehicle used to accomplish this ministry is incompatible with the ministry of grace.
Many people who desire to learn the Word of God and grow in Christ may be unable or unwilling to purchase the materials. We live in a nation that is facing spiritually poverty but yet, for a while, financially prosperous. It seems oddly warped that a ministry at this time in the United States would withhold the spiritual wealth because they are not being paid.
Generation Word is incorporated as a non-profit organization and is registered with the IRS as exempt from federal income tax as a 501c3 organization.
