Hinnom Valley

Standing in the Hinnom Valley and looking west you can see the location of many Jewish Graves.

The field of blood purchased by the priests with Judas coin is located here.

Looking up the Hinnom Valley with Mount Zion and the Old City of Jerusalem on the right (east).
A tomb on the west side.
Looking up the east side of the Hinnom Valley towards the Jerusalem or the City of David.

Looking up at Mount Zion on the east from the Hinnom Valley.

The Jerusalem University College is at the top of this hill, or at the top of Mt. Zion.

Notice the cable running from the middle of the left side of the photo into the trees. This cable was run from the King David Hotel (not in the picture) to the west across the Hinnom Valley and into one of the rooms now used by the Jerusalem University College. This cable was used to transfer supplies and troops across the valley to Mt. Zion during one of the wars. The whole valley was covered by enemy snipers.
